Ratings Make Films Worth Watching And Books Compulsory Reading

Ratings are those things in life that make books that much more compulsory to read, films far more worthwhile watching, restaurants worth eating at and so much more. Word of mouth is perhaps the most powerful tool when it comes to advertising anything and everything – somehow it is human nature to not miss out on that fantastic experience, and once word is out that something is brilliant, everyone seems to want to jump on the proverbial bandwagon and join the fray.

Ratings will always differentiate the brilliant from the mediocre – that is why restaurants or hotels are graded with ratings. You might be a five-star kind of person and only have a three-star budget. Something in-between like a four star will point you in the right direction.

If everyone is raving about a certain restaurant and everyone says that you simply HAVE to try out the new hot spots, see the latest movie or read that brilliant book, you don’t want to be the only person who has not seen the movie or read the book. Ratings are those things in life that will grade something from hero to zero.

Human nature is simply all about following the leader – perhaps you are a follower or you could even be the leader of the pack. But if you are a leader and want to show everyone how impressive you are by following the latest trends and the latest happenings in town, then this is the best way to get those fresh ideas by reading up reviews and ratings on the best places to visit, the finest places to drink coffee, eat cake and to gossip, and remember that the latest and best are only a little click away.

Ratings are those things in life that grade something one our of ten – so if something is a ten then it is brilliant but sadly if something only gets a one then that means it is pretty dismal. Ratings make the world complete.

Restaurant Reviews and Business Reviews

How many times have you gone to see a movie or bought a book because it had excellent reviews? Word of mouth is one of the most powerful tools when promoting a service, a product, a restaurant or a business. If you read excellent restaurant reviews or brilliant business reviews offering exceptional service and more, chances are you will feel compelled to try it out.

Get your little black book out and pencil in that cute spot for your next girl’s night out or use the services of a business highly recommended – whatever you do don’t miss out!

Whether it is an indulgent party or a salsa dancing or a little down time at the seaside, these spots will be perfect just for you.

In Jo’burg try Jacob’s Board Game CafĂ© in Parkhurst for the perfect night out with your friends. Embrace your inner homebody with a game of Scrabble, Monopoly or 30 Seconds, and put your feet up, make yourself comfy on a couch and enjoy some of the delectable coffee served.

The Good Luck Club is the latest venture by Angie and Shane Durrant who are also the owners of Wolves. Order dim sum followed by delightful noodles and because it is one of the up-and-coming spots in Illovo, Jo’burg, it is best to book a place to avoid disappointment.

For that night-time vibe visit the Eden Bar and Nightclub in Rivonia boasting three bars and a VIP spot with a lovely garden bedecked with four-poster beds!

In Cape Town try out The Pink Flamingo, The Crystal Towers where you can learn to make sushi, or try some salsa dancing at Casa Blanca.

Sadly this space is far too small to name all the fave places dotted from Port Elizabeth to Jo’burg – but if you are into discovering new things then keep your eyes open for restaurant reviews and business reviews for the exceptional in SA!
